Last week on Sunday, 22nd March 2009, I was on duty (Kendarat) at Tampines, I was quite busy on that day and furthermore on that day one of my crew who was suppose to be on duty, last min was unable to attend due to some reasons. So our Manager, Mr Harres and me had to find replacement. After awhile, finally we manage to find replacement. Alhadulillah… (Thank you God) because instead of 1 person who is suppose to replace the other crew. We have 1 more extra crew who is willingly to work on that day. I am so happy because on that day happen to be lots of pax. But no matter what, we manage to handle the crowd. Alhamdulillah… (Thank you God). And on that day also, we were having problems with the catering people because it was our 1st time working with them. And furthermore, the Bride who was the one had sign an agreement with our co. which had stated in the contract that our Q-Factor’s service was only to clear the plates & other utensils from the guests tables when they had finish their meals and other than that is not part of our service.

The catering keeps on asking for help from our crews to help them carry clean plates from the wash area to the buffet tables. 1st round, my team helps out since there was still no crowd yet. But slowly after everything was done, I ask my team to stop helping them as I was told by my manager, Mr Harres. Then slowly, they asked for another favour from us to help them wipe the utensils and plates because it was wet. But this time they ask the host family to ask us instead them. So when one of the host family came to me and ask, I told them that we are not allow to do that service as it was not part of our services and that was from our manager, Mr Harres. But in the end they had no choice, so the host family members were the one who had to do the job. I assure that the host’s family members will be unhappy with us. But no matter what, we had done our best to provide our Q-Factor services. But they are still unhappy is not our fault. We, Q-Factor Services are ready to face the complaint if there are any.

Oh yah, the groom was a “Mat Rempet” and if I’m not wrong their team was called B----. They make official stunts to show that the groom is here…
